What our students are saying

“Before taking the Music Production courses with PluginMusicSchool, I was struggling to learn mixing and mastering from online resources.
The personalized guidance from Michal in our one-to-one sessions was a game-changer, enabling me to improve my mixing techniques finally.
Having my tracks professionally mastered by Mattias was the perfect finishing touch.
These courses not only elevated my technical skills but also boosted my confidence in music production.”

Charles-Antoinemusic producer

“Plugin Music School was a beautiful discovery. The response to my request was really quick, Michal followed me in the final mixing stage teaching me some good lessons about this complex stage of music production. During the few hours of 101 sessions, I have learned a lot and improved my skills as electronic music producer. Once we were both happy about the mixing, it took only 5 days to have 2 songs mastered. This was just an amazing experience and since the beginning I felt very comfortable with sharing opinions and feedback. Very happy!”

Dejan Djmusic producer

“After lessons with Michal Basar (mentor), my production improved a lot. They promised to move my production to another level, and they did. I recommend it to everyone. Thank you very much guys! It is good school with great teachers with a lot of experience!”

    What our students are saying

    FAQ

What do I need to bring for the classes?

    – For an optimal learning experience, you should bring your laptop with your preferred music production software, essential plugins, and headphones. During the classes, you’ll work with our studio monitors and headphones to ensure your techno track sounds professional and works effectively both in and outside the studio.

What will a lesson look like?

    – Part A of each lesson will contain critical listening, real-life sound examples, A/B testing, and sharing the know-how we gathered over the years of music production and working for clients. We will tell you what works and what does not work.

In part B, you will work on your project using the techniques learned in part A of the lesson.

Thanks to continuous feedback and constant improvement, this project-based approach will significantly increase your understanding of concepts learned in each lesson.

Questions and discussions will be ongoing throughout the whole lesson.

What level of producers is this course for?

    – This course is designed for intermediate and advanced producers. We expect you to have basic knowledge of music production software and terminology. You should already know how to make music, even if you don’t consider yourself a professional.

If you’re unsure whether this course is for you, please, contact us. We’ll arrange a discovery call to figure it out together.

Is this course suitable for beginners?

    – This course is not suitable for beginner music producers. However, if you are starting with music production, let us know, and we’ll do our best to help guide you on your journey or give you some essential tips on how to level up your music production.

Will I work on my track during the lessons?

    – Yes! You’ll focus on your track throughout the course. Each lesson will guide you step by step, starting by building the foundation with the kick drum and progressing through essential elements like basslines, synths, effects, and arrangement. You will work on your sound design and mixing simultaneously, then you do an arrangement, then we fix the last details and at the end of the course you will get a mastered version of your track.

What kind of feedback will I receive?

    – You’ll receive personalized, constructive feedback tailored to your track every time you need it! We’ll highlight areas for improvement and provide actionable steps to make your sound more polished and professional.

What tools or software will we use during the course?

    – During our lesson, your teacher will use Ableton. Don’t worry if you use Logic Pro, FL Studio or any other DAW. Our practices go beyond DAW, so you will learn techniques, which can be applicable in every DAW and often outside of the Techno world.

How much time should I dedicate outside the lessons?

    – While most of the work happens in the studio, spending some time outside of lessons experimenting, tweaking, and listening to references will help you progress even faster. You will have your assignments as well. Therefore, A few hours per week should be enough to stay on track. The more time you invest, the better your learning experience and final track will be.

Will we cover mixing and mastering in the lessons?

    – Mixing is a crucial part of the course, and each lesson will cover some part of the mixing. We will cover the basics of mastering in this course as well, however, the focus is to prepare your track for mastering, not to make mastering itself. Once your track is finished, it will be handed over to our mastering engineer, Mattias Fridell, for the final polish.

    How about the money-back guarantee?

    – You can get a full refund up to 30 days before the start of the course.
